Researchers are seriously looking into the role of CoQ10 to treat cancer. Cancer patients
have been found to have lower levels of CoQ10 in their blood.
This research , suggests that CoQ10 has a very definite role in the development and
treatment of cancer. The opinion was based on a study of 83 U.S. patients, who had cancer of breast, lung, prostate, pancreas, colon, stomach, and rectum. All of the patients had low levels of CoQ10.
Low levels of CoQ10 have been reported by other researchers as well. One researcher
reported three women with breast cancer, one of whom also had numerous metastases in the liver. After taking 390 mg of CoQ10 daily, regression of cancer in all three patients was noted.
CoQ10 protects the pancreas which manufactures insulin and helps support glucose
metabolism. If you have a history of diabetes in the family, he advises taking CoQ10 and vitamin E.
Your body cannot manufacture CoQ10 without the presence of B3 niacin, folic acid, &
pyridoxine (B6). One study reported on six breast cancer patients who had complete regression of cancer in 5 patients, along with a regression of metastases in the liver and
overall survival of all 6 patients from five to fifteen years.
